We’re excited to invite you to join us for a special Stories at Fern. The first half will feature our own Jennifer Ferris, and the second half will reprise our regular show, with the theme “the Gift of Friendship.”
- Jennifer Ferris has a long history of friendship with storytelling – she is a performer, teacher, coach, organizer and risk taker. She engages audiences in a myriad of settings, sharing personal, historical, traditional and improvised tales to listeners of all ages. Tonight, she’ll guide us through a Life with Dance, so get ready to move with the beat!!
- Al Fowler will host the second half, featuring a variety of tellers with yarns about the Gift of Friendship.
This is a hybrid event. Those who want to attend in person, please come to 1831 Fern St in Victoria (see map). Those who want to attend virtually, can register on the link below. Either way, the show starts at 7:30.
Stories at Fern is our regular monthly meeting. Admission is free for members who have paid their dues – thank you for your support! If you would like to become a member or pay your $25 annual dues, you are always welcome. If you are just dropping in the suggested donation is $5, which can be made in four ways: in person at the event, or online via Paypal (paypal.me/storytellersvictoria), an e-transfer to treasurer@victoriastorytellers.org, or you can contact us to obtain a mailing address for a cheque.
We are using Zoom, and there is no need to create a Zoom account, however we are asking our virtual friends to register in advance for a secure, enjoyable experience.
