Special concert November 28: Motoko “Tales of Now and Zen”

Through “Tales of Now and Zen” Motoko exquisitely blends the ancient lore of Japan and her original stories, infused with humour.  

Experience award-winning storyteller Motoko in a live virtual Zoom presentation from her home in Massachusetts on Sunday, November 28, at 2:00 pm PST. 

The recipient of the National Storytelling Network’s 2017 Circle of Excellence Award, Motoko has enchanted audiences of every age since 1993. Motoko has appeared on PBS’ Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood and has been featured in festivals and theaters across the U.S. Storytelling has taken her to China, Japan, Senegal, and the U.A.E. Her story recordings won a Parents’ Choice Silver Honor Award, a Storytelling World Award, and a National Parenting Publications Award. Check https://motoko.folktales.net/ for more info.

Admission is free for Guild members. If you are just dropping in to this virtual event, the suggested donation is $10 for this concert. Donations can be made in three ways: via Paypal (paypal.me/storytellersvictoria), an e-transfer to treasurer@victoriastorytellers.org, or you can contact us to obtain a mailing address for a cheque.
